Senior Sales Representative

Arling Lumber Incorporated is seeking a sales representative for the Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky market.

Arling Lumber, headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, is a 56 year-old, family-owned and operated distributor of lumber and building materials.  Arling services customers – lumber dealers, home improvement retailers, truss and component manufacturers, and industrial accounts, from 5 inventory locations.

Sales Representative Core Responsibilities

Sell full range of products to a customer base which includes

-contacting prospects and initiating relationships

-maintaining existing relationships

-negotiating prices and delivery

-developing and implementing marketing programs

-providing product knowledge seminars to customers

-introducing new products to customers

-using sales history and market trend data to provide customer focused solutions

 

Sales Representative Core Competencies

-ability to travel as necessary

-lumber/building material product knowledge

-perseveres to overcome sales rejection

-proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software
